The official Kara no Kyoukai site got updated with a brand spankin new trailer (3m14s) for the new DVDs. It’s so fucking awesome I fucking came.

The official Kuroshitsuji site reveals the title and performers of the next ED theme - Kalafina with a song called “Lacrimosa”. CD is scheduled for spring 2009, which continues to make me ponder if the final Kara no Kyoukai theme will have it’s own single (which I’d guess should be out around then as well) or maybe they’ll just throw “Lacrimosa” and Kara no Kyoukai songs on a single full album… Either way - MORE KALAFINA!

Sure is fairytale around here lately, lol. Here’s Kalafina’s fairytale as it appeared on yesterdays Comchat Countdown (you can listen to the whole show at nico, Arika from ALI PROJECT was the guest ^^). The QUALITY is quite HIGH, so feel warned.

So I just watched fairytale’s clip on the official site (also below) and take back whatever bad I said about it. Even though I still don’t believe it was an effort in originality on Kajiura’s part, I think I’ll like the full song.

I just noticed (slowpoke.jpg) the theme for the Xbox360 port of CHAOS;HEAD is by Kanako Ito again - you can listen to a sample on the official site for the port. I wonder when the single might get announced - only some POS character singles are scheduled for December 24 ATM…

The official Kalafina website got updated for the fairytale ‘era’.

Pretty meh update, IMHO. For sprinter it was far more exciting - photoshoot pics, new profiles, etc. This time we only get this single new pic… and with an ugly blue tint to make things worse (not to mention the photoshop clone brush on the left). Sure, we can hear a sample of fairytale but, again, it’s nothing great - it seems like pretty standard/obvious Kajiura ballade stuff, only the bridge gives me hope the whole track might be decent. tl/dr: disappointing update.
