The official site for the upcoming BeeTrain TV animu, Phantom -Requiem for the Phantom-, is now up (slowpoke.jpg). Yuki Kajiura is not involved, Hikaru Nanase is. Can’t say I’m disappointed. ;)

I haven’t read the original Nitro+ work, but have seen the OVA adaptation and it was pretty mediocre (lol animation) IMHO. It introduced me to Kanako Ito though… I’m not sure if the OVA storyline is suitable for a long running TV series, but am sort of looking forward to it because the MADLAX writer is on board and I personally LOVED the execution/plot & character development/progression of that show (even if the story itself ended up pretty simple/silly in the last few episodes).

• Absolute Castaway 9th CD - Arco-Iris got announced. FUCK YES! Comiket 75 release.
• Exciting news for Aki Misawa fans! Her full album, Stella Musica, will be released on the next Comiket! It consists of mostly new songs, each composed/produced by someone else. tl/dr: While that means only 1x onoken (:sadgrunty:), it also gives us tracks by the likes of bermei.inazawa and Alstroemeria composers. Can’t wait.
• A new View of Omega CD, gIg+, will also surface during Comiket 75. While Aki Misawa is sadly not singing this time, it comes with no less than 3 (three) Noriko Mitose tracks. A++ if you ask me.
• Team Entertainment will be releasing a somewhat promising (on paper, not particularly in samples released so far, lol) compilation CD on December 24, titled Message. Blue-kun described it as:

  Surprisingly Kanako Ito found her way to this CD as well - I didn’t expect to see her on a Team E release.
