Limited Edition of each chapter will come with a bonus soundtrack CD. Hurrah.

Finally had time to watch the whole thing instead of just OP/ED and well… this episode was simply A+++++++++ all around. Thank you, Tsutomu Mizushima, Chiwa Saitou, animators. Now my only worry is future episodes sticking to this quality… Please, please, please, please continue being awesome…

Well there you have it… I AM FUCKIN’ IMPRESSED. I didn’t expect to like this at all, but DAMN, well played DEEN, well played.

Music was as awesome as expected. Yuri and shota were unexpected A+++ bonuses. A true innocent going to hell wasn’t happening too often in the show, so, even though it was a result of retarded teen angst as usual, it’s still a nice way to open the new season. I laughed at Kikuri a lot and then there was confusion regarding Enma Ai still being Jigoku Shoujo - now hosted by the new schoolgirl it seems. I bet we’ll be seeing the rather cool transformation sequence as stock footage in all the next episodes unfortunately. Some of the art direction was also wonderful, while the actual death sequence was downright hilarious instead of trying to be freaky (hey we know how those turned out in the previous seasons…). The ED is also better than the 2nd one IMHO so A+++ job there, too.

If there’s one thing I had to hate on (apart from the AIDS QUALITY raw I watched…) it’s the OP - not only do the song and animation suck, but they have zero to do with eachother.

Here’s hoping it doesn’t return to Futakomori QUALITY next episode…
