Nevermind the nonexistant budget… SLAYERS IS BACK AND NOT WORSE THAN EXPECTED, but with a sucky OP this time. Xellos was only in the OP unfortunately and Pokota had a last minute debut. Can’t wait ep2.

WHAAAT, you didn’t like the OP? I thought it was pretty good. Maybe I just like it because it has been awhile since I’ve heard Megumi singing. ;p

I really don’t like the OP much. It lacks any WE’RE BACK energy, which I was hoping for with the return of the show. The animation is rather meh, too. IMO, the only good thing about it ATM is Xellos and Zelas appearing in it.

Zelas and Xelloss? As far as I can see, only Xelloss shows himself in the intro. The few characters we do see are all from the novels. The White Tiger isn’t Zelas. It’s a character from the fifth Slayers novel. His name is Duclis, or something like that. Also, I actually liked the intro. A few parts feature some rather stellar animation. :3

Zelas (or to be more precise, Zelas’s ass) is behind Xellos in the character stills in the end of the OP.
