Watch the promo video for Higurashi Kizuna with Kanako Itou’s new song here. The song’s title is “追想のディスペア” (I think it’s Memories of DESPAIR? Correct me if I’m uber wrong. Well uh… Maybe I was right, but the cover has it as “despair in recollection”). Whatever the title - finally, after several disappointing outings, a new song I love from her. When’s the CD release date? Note that she has another single coming out in May, while the game itself is getting released in late June.

This is not Itou’s first song for Higurashi - she has previously done the PS2 Higurashi Matsuri ending theme, “escape”.

The title of this single is not yet released, but it’s supposed to be the main theme of Revo’s and Kajiura’s concerts. Single is set to include 2 arrangements of said track on the CD part and a live recording on the DVD. Release date: June 18, 2008 (KIZM-15~16). Official concert site is now open.

Update: The box will be called “Dream Port”. The first track on CD and DVD is titled “砂塵の彼方へ…” (which Xabin-dono sexily translated as “Beyond the sound clouds”), while the 2nd CD track is still untitled.

I haven’t made a CD post in ages and it seems like this might be the official tracklisting for the remix single so I figured I might as well post it. 「俯瞰風景」 is the title of the first Kara no Kyoukai chapter, so guess it makes oblivious the movie mix. :)

Still no karaoke versions. :(
