What a waste of resources to re-record the old tracks… Sure, it’s better that they were for continuity purposes, but for Pete’s sake they could’ve put more ideas into the new arranges - most of it sounds almost exactly like it did 11 years ago. That’s not saying all of the tracks suck though - there are some nice tracks here (and I think there are 2 new BGMs).

BUT BUT BUT there’s this “Showdown” track that I L-O-L-ed hard on. This track makes me want to see the movie SOOO BAD to LAUGH when it pops up. I don’t know how Sagisu could’ve come up with something this retarded. I mean just imagine an EVA in the middle of a battle and a choir sing:

THIS IS THE LAST HORIZON
NO SECOND CHANCE FOR LOSING
THERE WILL BE NO TOMORROW

It’s just SO cheestastic.

I don’t know why the title is different than in the ending credits, I don’t know why it’s not credited as FictionJunction YUUKA anymore, but here it is - El Cazasnore (El Cazador) #25 insert song lyrics. Point out errors in the comments, if you spot them, please.

I really love this OST (with the exception of I reach for the sun). Favorites: moonlight fiesta (WIN - basically an instrumental of Nostalgia), L.A., cazador del amor, cowardly little dogs we are & the place of eternity. There’s more after the jump~

El Cazasnore (El Cazador) #26 insert song. I find this song cheesy (as in, German/Euro Pop Chart or Celine Dion cheese) and I don’t like it. Will post the awesome “cazador del amor” lyrics some time later. Have to sleep. ;P There’s more after the jump~

I wasn’t expecting to hear a japanese version of this track at all. 0_0 Note that there’s no “el cazador” on OST2, so it looks like we have to wait ’til FictionJunction YUUKA’s next single (or what’s worse, next album). Unless of course it has a different title on OST2…

Remember that kukui single for Angel Profile that was supposed to come out in July? You can hear bits of the song on Angel Profile Radio on Lantis’ website. The game voice actors also have a little chat with Haruka Shimotsuki & myu of kukui there. The single is probably officialy cancelled now, so we have to wait for the album - October 3 (according to Lantis) or October 24 (according to online shops).

Now on official site. It is FANTASTIC.
