I enjoy CODE-E so far - sure it’s nothing more than an enjoyable slice of life animu, but I enjo… wait… let me start again.

I want to enjoy this show but FOR FUCKS SAKE - the male lead art is of Gift ~eternal rainbow~ quality. Those who have seen 2 episodes of that should know it means it is random C-R-A-P head size&shape + random face. Some evidence below.

If you’re going to have such godawful art, conentrate on girls since they always seem to look good. I do want to enjoy this show, cause other than this and the random ROD OP everything about the show (non-male-lead-art, music, characters, slice of life with electricity feel) clicks with me, but when this guy has so many close-ups and screen time one can only hope DVDs fix it…
