It appears a new FictionJunction KAORI (Tsubasa Chronicle) track is going to be used as the ending theme of the upcoming anime 「バッカーノ!」 (Baccano!). I’m not entirely sure it’s going to be released under FJ KAORI or just the singer’s name (Kaori Oda), but Yuki Kajiura is writing and composing.

The single, titled 「Calling」, is coming out on Aug 22, while the show starts on July 27, 2007.

Edit: it will be released under Oda’s name. The 2nd track has no involvement from Kajiura.

July 25 seems to be THE date for OSTs of April shows even if I’m not interested in many of those getting released then (Claymoar, Skull Man, tzz). ;)

Very nice PV with several Bokurano references, but I’m slightly disappointed with the full version of the song. I don’t really mind how repetitive it is, although they could have done something about it by changing the vocals or music for the 2nd verse a bit. What bothers me is the additional 4 seconds before each chorus kicks in - it stops the flow of the song in an annoying manner. Ah, well - nothing one can do…
