News of this album was available for quite some time now, but I haven’t noticed the tracklisting ’til now. I was hoping it would include kukui’s 「空蝉ノ影」 (「Rozen Maiden ouverture」 ED theme), since (as you probably know) Shimotsuki is the vocalist in kukui, but unfortunately, it is not in the tracklist.

It’s not all bad though! It’s actually quite exciting, as I was also worried this would be another “best of” compilation album for her. Assuming I haven’t forgotten any of the plethora Shimotsuki titles would mean this album has 12 new tracks from her! I’m so there! Feb 28, 2007 release.

Since the first OST isn’t out yet, I’m a bit unsure if I’m interested in this second disc, but since it got announced recently why not mention it? April 11, 2007 release.

According to the official site the bonus disc that comes with Higurashi DVD7 is once again a soundtrack CD. I wonder if they really have more music to release - the last disc wasn’t exactly rich in new content… well anyways, hurray! January 25, 2007.

So while washi is having a writers block, writing upcoming shows previews and refusing to watch shows I keep suggesting, I figured I’d write something unoriginal too… just a few backlog comments and thoughts on upcoming stuff.

I’m actually writing this post because I got excited after finally watching Genshiken #13 (OVA #1) which gg released overnight. I think I should start by saying that I didn’t think I missed Genshiken THIS much prior to watching this OVA. I really feel like watching the original TV series (yet again).
