60 minutes of ALI PROJECT behind me. I love strings driven music and this OST does deliver strings - probably even more than OST1 - happy me. This is a very good follow up to the first OST and also a slightly different one - I think, in general, a much more calm CD and less, I don’t know, rural? While 「KING KNIGHT」 is IMHO not as good of an opener as 「GOD DIVA」 on OST1, it does the job just fine and the next 3 tracks make up for the less than strong opening. The other 2 full songs 「埋葬の森の黄昏坂」 & 「汚れなき悪意」 are solid efforts.

I know I said some bad things about ALI PROJECT in the past, but that came mainly from their anime OP/ED songs, which I still think are all the same. Since then I have discovered more of their solo work and what left me quite impressed was that several of their albums were really good strings-only (and vocals ;)) albums. I’m certainly waiting for more of their stuff.

Favorite tracks after first listen:
「illness and ruins」, 「ash wednesday」, 「new species」, 「汚れなき悪意」.

Pre-release comments:

The first OST was rather nice, so why would this one be different?
